John Bickford, P.E., DBM Contractors, Inc., Federal Way, WA

John has over 16 years of experience in structural engineering and specialty geotechnical construction. His work experience includes the design and construction administration of drilled foundation support systems, including drilled shafts and micropiles, temporary and permanent earth retention systems for excavation support, and slope stabilization systems throughout the Western United States. John received his Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering degree from Seattle University and is a registered Profession Engineer in Washington and Arizona. He is a member of the ADSC, ASCE, and DFI. He also serves as a member of the ADSC/WSDOT Task Force.

At home, John has three children and coaches his daughter’s soccer team.  In his spare time, John enjoys working around the house, bike riding, music, and playing the drums. John is also a big fan of the Mariner’s, Seahawk’s, and Sounder’s FC.
