Sarah Morgan graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering emphasizing in Structural Engineering, and in 2005 with a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering emphasizing in Geotechnical Engineering.
Sarah joined Golder Associates in 2005 and is currently working as a project engineer. Her design experience includes preparing engineering calculations and design documents and providing technical review for a variety of design types, including mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) walls, shoring systems, shallow and deep foundations, and pipeline crossings. Her field experience includes conducting geotechnical investigations and providing engineering field support during construction, including municipality required construction observation and construction management. Her management experience includes managing small to medium projects and performing construction management for Golder Construction Services projects.
Sarah and her husband (Ryan) met at Illinois and now live in Seattle. In their free time, they enjoy running, traveling and spending time with friends.
Sarah looks forward to serving as ASCE Geotechnical Group's Treasurer this year.
